Understanding clinical trials is essential to successful analysis of the pharmaceutical & device industry. Do you know the path that a drug or device travels before it goes on the market? Our seminar provides an overview of the path a new drug or device travels to non medical professionals and medical professionals transitioning from the patient care realm who are involved in evaluating companies with clinical trials for new drugs and devices. At the end of the course attendees will be able to: · Understand the phases in new compound development (pre clinical, Phase I-IV). · Be able to understand “the talk” - know the terms used in the industry. · Recognize the differences in the approval process for drugs versus devices. · Attain initial insights into the potential causes of failure in the clinical trial process. Location: At your facility or at selected venues. Length: Flexible (2-3 hours to a maximum of one day, depending on the need). |
