Modern Imaging in New Drugs, Devices & Patient Care:
Understanding clinical trials is essential to successful analysis of the pharmaceutical & device industry. Specifically, imaging is now an integral part of all trials and has become much more complicated in recent years. Has anyone updated you on the basics of imaging in clinical trials? Do you know how medical imaging of trial results integrate into trials testing new drugs & devices? Are you aware of trends & utilization issues in the imaging industry? Target Audience: Our seminar provides an overview of imaging to non imaging professionals who are involved in evaluating new drugs & devices as well as imaging utilization in the market place including analysts, investment bankers, mergers & acquisitions, brokers and new recruits from other fields. At the end of the course attendees will be able to: · Identify various imaging modalities and understand practical issues in applying them the field. · Recognize new technologies in imaging that allow for early detection of end points. · Have tools to better select imaging consultants and supervise their work · Have a basic understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the various modalities. · Identify which parameters in imaging are controlled by machines (quantitative) and which are based on human assessment (qualitative). · Understand trends in new imaging device utilizations in the marketplace Location: At your facility or at selected venues.
